Re: not coping

Great to see you @MoonGal  ..,, 👋💕

My situation has turned on its head ..... my WH did a runner with someone else :face_with_rolling_eyes:🤬 ..... but it will eventually get to a place where I will be okay.

I hope you are doing well, and that's why we haven't heard from you for a while ....

Re: not coping

@Sans911 quick question... how do u treat someone whose been winded

Re: not coping

Found it 🤞

Re: not coping

OK then came out of left field lol - pardon the pun. Get them to draw their legs up (reduces abdo pressure) and breathe through the nose, exhaling out the mouth @outlander

Re: not coping

thanks @Sans911
I done that to myself, apparently if you sit in a certain position for a while your legs forget they have to work. couldn't think of the position to treat it in not that I got much further then sitting up anyway. stupid idiot I am

Re: not coping

ill just stay over here now if that's ok? @Sans911

im not surprised people like talking to you about well anything. I understand everyones panicing but if they listen to the medical advice and follow the instructions set out then its better to understand. Im not panicing over it anymore, concerned mostly cause im not elderly and kids but following their rules and keeping safe quite easily.

I will have a look to see if I can find the first assessment question...

edited cause i found the question. i think theres some sort of resource or something i havent seen through the topic that i was suppose to download as there hasnt been any 'workplace introduction' and the rest of the details on the 3 dot points are very brief- like one or 2 lines each.

Question 1
In your workplace induction, you were provided with an overview of workplace health and safety, ergonomics, sustainability and organisational procedures.

Briefly outline two (2) organisational requirements for each of the following:
-Ergonomics
-Work breaks
-Sustainability/resource conservation

Re: not coping

Hmm interesting question @outlander. And I guess you don't need me to tell you to go look at the resources as that'll probably help a lot.

So I think the answers might go along these lines. For ergonomics you could discuss seating - why it's important to be have correct ergonomics. Relate it back to posture and link posture to potential long term health outcomes (I take you are studying health related subjects?). Poor posture reduces productivity & eventually leads to reduced capacity to work, time off for pain, discomfort.

Does this seem to on the right track before I go further?

Re: not coping

Its suppose to be a medical admin course but there's nothing medical about it yet @Sans911
Sounds like you might be on the right track though with the question
